Taizé is a contemplative prayer that was developed by an ecumenical community of monks in rural Taizé, France. For more information about the history and present day Taizé, visit the Taizé website.
Once a month, fall through spring, on the first Wednesday, we have a Taizé prayer service at St. Hubert Church. The service includes simple chants; sacred silence; candlelight; readings; and prayers for peace, healing, and reconciliation. The service is not a Mass. It is open to all faiths. Everyone is welcome to attend.
