Baptized Catholics who have attained the age of reason, normally age 7, may be prepared by a local parish to receive the Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist. At St. Hubert Church, classes and preparation for First Eucharist are scheduled for each child upon request.

Listed below are some general guidelines to follow in preparation for the child’s First Eucharist. There may be others and there may be exceptions. Contact Fr. Rick or the Faith Formation Administrator for clarification.
- Candidate must be baptized and have received the Sacrament of Penance. The Sacrament of Penance, and preparation for it, is part of the preparation for First Eucharist.
- Parent(s) must be a registered and active member of St. Hubert Church.
- Parent(s) and candidate must regularly attend Mass.
- Candidate must participate in catechesis/religious instruction and sacramental preparation for Eucharist.
