St. Hubert Ministries

Our beautiful Catholic Church, here on South Whidbey Island, has so many ministries, literally something for everyone. As we highlight some of these ministries, we will focus this week on the Evangelization Committee.

This group endeavors to help parishioners become joyful disciples of Jesus Christ bearing the light of His truth, goodness and beauty to our community and beyond. Our specific goals enable us to share with others our Catholic faith, scripture and personal encounters with the Lord.

With a passion for our faith, our Evangelization Committee has prepared general information to share at the Tilth Sunday farmers market starting the first weekend in July. The purpose is to inform people about who we are, our beliefs, traditions and teachings. This is an opportunity to truly spread the word of God and the teachings of the Catholic church. Thank you Evangelization Committee for sharing your vision! What a beautiful, beautiful gift they are sharing.

For more information about the Evangelization Committee please contact John Scehovic at 360-221-6093.

Website, Narthex TV, Publicity and Photography

With the lovely new website that St. Hubert has, and the beautiful TV in the narthex that serves as an electronic bulletin board, we are moving enthusiastically into a new era of communicating with and about our faith community. If you would like to be part of helping with publicity for events, some social media efforts, or keeping our website filled with good content…we would love your help in the Communications Ministry.

Peace and Social Justice Commission

Are you interested in the social justice teachings of our faith? Why justice? It is a moral virtue by which you give others what is due to them. We strive to explore our Catholic teachings in an open, non-biased environment and then share with the parish community through workshops, education and guest speakers. Please join us and add your voice.
