St. Hubert Ministries

Our beautiful Catholic Church, here on South Whidbey Island, has so many ministries, literally something for everyone. As we highlight some of these ministries, we will focus this week on the Evangelization Committee.

This group endeavors to help parishioners become joyful disciples of Jesus Christ bearing the light of His truth, goodness and beauty to our community and beyond. Our specific goals enable us to share with others our Catholic faith, scripture and personal encounters with the Lord.

With a passion for our faith, our Evangelization Committee has prepared general information to share at the Tilth Sunday farmers market starting the first weekend in July. The purpose is to inform people about who we are, our beliefs, traditions and teachings. This is an opportunity to truly spread the word of God and the teachings of the Catholic church. Thank you Evangelization Committee for sharing your vision! What a beautiful, beautiful gift they are sharing.

For more information about the Evangelization Committee please contact John Scehovic at 360-221-6093.

Visiting Ministers to the Homebound/Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is the loving and compassionate care of the sick, homebound and dying through home and hospital visits. The care and love shown to others is what Jesus expects of each of us. As scripture tells us; “Love one another as I have loved you.” Please join Deacon Larry in a ministry that gives more blessings than you could ever imagine.
