Art & Environment – Altar care, Banners, Church linens & Flowers

This Ministry is both sacred and joyous work. Our intention is to honor seasonal aspects of our liturgies by creating a warm, sacred and inviting worship space. There are many ways to serve such as flower arranging, placement of appropriate banners, care of altar linens and providing flowers, which on occasion, honor special persons. This team is also responsible for cleaning brass, light dusting and ironing altar linens. Please consider joining this rewarding ministry.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

We offer a program for the unbaptized who want to investigate the Catholic faith, as well as baptized Christians who wish to prepare for the sacraments for full communion with the church. Volunteer options are to be a sponsor, or to faith share by breaking open the gospel readings with the catechumens at the dismissal rite during Mass. If you are willing to share your faith please join us. All seekers are welcome and invited to call.

Faith Formation for Families

How do we each become closer and closer to God through our whole life? Through prayer, learning, sharing with one another, and being of service to others. This is the heart of faith formation and it is for all of us. We have an intergenerational approach this year-to help us all learn from one another as well as from scholars. If you enjoy learning or want to help with monthly workshops for families of all ages, then please become part of the Faith Formation Team! We also have an array of seasonal events that might need your special talent. Come join us on this new adventure!

Taize (tay-zay) Prayer

We pray in a combination of meditative singing, short scripture readings, prayers of praise and intercession, and sacred silence. It is a time to come to a greater union with God. All are invited. We meet the first Wednesday of each month from Sept – May at 7:00pm in the church sanctuary.
