The parish Finance Council is a consultative body offering advice to our Pastor concerning the stewardship of St. Hubert’s financial resources. The council conducts long-range financial planning, develops and oversees the parish budget process, provides analysis of parish expenses and income, and provides financial analysis of proposed project, program, and administrative functions. A background in finance, accounting or business administration is important and desired (although not required) for being a member of the Finance Council. The council also oversees the maintenance of parish grounds and facilities.

How real is your faith to you? Do you get excited about learning more about it and want to share that excitement with others? Then, the Faith Formation Commission is for you. This group will help assess parish needs for faith formation for all ages, suggest ways to increase knowledge and spirituality, and work with all ministries to bring the best suggestions to life.

This group endeavors to help parishioners become joyful disciples of Jesus Christ bearing the light of His truth, goodness and beauty to our community and beyond. Our specific goals enable us to share with others our Catholic faith, scripture and personal encounters with the Lord. One of those goals was met last Spring with the establishment of the “Fred Olson Memorial Library to help provide easy access to His Truth. Come help us fulfill Pope Francis’ call to “Go and Make Disciples.”

Many tasks arise each week that are accomplished by our dedicated volunteers donating their time. Supporting our office staff through phone answering, stuffing envelopes and bulletins, creating inserts, and tabulating results are just a few of the ways that our parishioners have been sharing their gifts. Supporting our parish financially is important, and equally valuable are those who lend their “counting skills” to the weekly task of counting and recording the donations that provide our parish support. If you enjoy dealing with numbers, and are willing to count the pennies and dollars, record the detailed information, and can prepare the needed paperwork for the bank deposits…St. Hubert needs you! This ministry will only take a few hours each month and is so essential to our parish.
