A blessed Christmas to you! After so many years of sharing the joy of Christmas with you, it seems strange to not be there with you as I celebrate my first Christmas in retirement. Life is treating me well here at the Palisades Retreat center in Federal Way. I gather every morning when I am home with other priests to celebrate Mass. (Feel free to send Mass intentions.) Â I am now celebrating Mass every Sunday at my home parish, St, Frances Cabrini, in Lakewood.
As the saying goes, “You can’t go home again.” I am amazed how much Lakewood has changed since I entered the seminary 43 years ago. Â My address is 4700 SW Dash Point Rd G3, Federal Way 98023.
