Pretty Petals Produce Pernicious Plants

Scotch Broom is a European shrub with yellow flowers that invades open meadows and roads. It crowds out native species and impacts wildlife habitat. Scotch broom produces toxic compounds and can cause mild poisoning in animals. More information about this invasive plant can be found at: WISC – Washington Invasive Species Council.

The cleanup will be happening in the general area of Bayview and highway 525. More information will be provided via email. Use the signup form below and join us in caring for our island home.
